processing, is a new but ever more popular object of empirical research in psy-
chotherapy, which is why it makes sense to determine in future, which are the
key competences in individual work settings. Research studies will contribute
to theoretical knowledge of emotional processes, serving as a basis for the crea-
tion of new therapeutic approaches, as well as for a more efficient clinical prac-
tice in the field of mental health.

Limitations
The research study has a few limitations. Research results cannot be compared
to results of other research studies, as there are no research studies from the
point of view of emotional competence
