Field of study: Business and Administration
Short programme description: This study programme offers general and interdisciplinary stu-
dies in the fields of management, economics, business and law. Students will become acqua-
inted with theories and concepts in the fields of business planning and organisation, busi-
ness development, innovation and leadership. They will understand the political, social and
cultural environment in which companies and organisations in Slovenia and abroad operate.
They will also develop critical thinking and analytical problem-solving capabilities, indepen-
dence and lifelong learning skills. Graduates may continue their studies in master study pro-
grammes.
Employment opportunities: Graduates are employable in middle management as experts in
the fields of marketing, human resources management, and accounting, and also as advisers
with job opportunities in banking, financial services, the commercial sector, health care, pu-
blic administration, service industries, and non-profit organisations. In addition, graduates
are able to embark on challenging entrepreneurial careers or other occupations requiring
independent professional work.
Students will develop the following skills:
• The ability to analyse and synthesise in order to find solutions and see consequences of
events in the fields of management, economics and business law
