data
when

For

should
meet
ILCD

LCI
data
is
usually
organized
according
the
inherent
property
of
material
(e.g.
metal,
wood),
whereas
the
industrial
users
organize
materials
according
their
use
(e.g.
construction
industries
use
their
own
nomenclatures:
beams,
pipes,
heating).
PEnA-‐Db
is
a
necessary
filter
facilitating
integration
of
LCA
on
construction
design,
budgeting
and
accounting.
XML
format
used
in
ILCD
datasets,
gives
relatively
easy
access
to
LCI
data.
The
preliminary
implementation
of
PEnA-‐Db
uses
MySQL,
so
that
data
transformations

is
flexible.
Using
open
access
database
software
allows
easy
access
to
data
using
common
access
methods
such
as
web
platforms
or
spreadsheets.
