Growing databases of various biological data suitable for computer analysis (e. g. ge-
netic information) brought up the need for experts with skills in computer and in-
formation sciences but also with adequate understanding of natural sciences. Miha
Å aberl, our undergraduate student of Bioinformatics between 2010 and 2013, decid-
ed to attend this programme because it combines both subjects of his interest - Biolo-
gy and Computer Science. »Professors lectured with excellent pedagogical approach and
