on from one hand and the sound examination from the other. The
idea of contemplation and examination of sound can be related to
modern tendencies designed by spectral music in which the sound
examination and concentration on its values plays an important
role.

In-between the Musical Poetics and Aesthetics of Uroš Rojko
The composer is put in a rather schizophrenic situation: the postulates of gen-
uine creation stand in a line with the belief that hardly anything new or orig-
inal may be achieved in music. To search for uniqueness in an artistic enter-
prise today would be a rather suspicious ontological task; besides: who would
dare to question uniqueness of a phenomenon in an era of multiple differenti-
ations? Of course, one may object that the main functionalist quandary – the
omnipresent saturation with differences and specificities leads toward cer-
tain clustering of allegedly incommensurable phenomena – shifts the focus
toward certain search for universals, common, shared, or at least compara-
ble features. In any case, certain forgetfulness seems fairly relevant for the con-
temporary musical practice, a process of leaving the historical and contextual
variables to certain extent aside in the name of the valuable and the real. The
contribution addresses this forgetfulness in the form of discrepancy between
musical poetics and aesthetics in the work of Uroš Rojko (b. 1954).

godine, izabrala sam vizualno atraktivne izloške iz bogate knjižnice i arhi-
va HGZ-a: notna izdanja, knjige, koncertne programe, pisma i račune iz
razdoblja art décoa (1920-tih i 1930-tih godina). Identificirala sam 15 autora
