Turistične atrakcije

pects of modern life are designated by tectonic changes of technology,
economy and society, which is clearly reflected on the tourism trends and
visitor behaviour. Visitor expectations and behaviour changes require
learning organisation, emotionally sensitive and flexible mind-set, oper-
atively vibrant offerings of superb attractions, always two steps ahead of
their competitors and the market. The understanding of visitor value sys-
tem and expectations requires from the tourism planners immense ca-
pacity of empathy and emotional intelligence, which in nearer future will
represent the main areas of differentiation and competent management
for achieving sustainable competitiveness on the market. Ever-deepening
interest and attitude of visitors, educational motive and multisensory ex-
perience become evident trends largely followed and supported by mod-
ern technology. We anticipate the development of attractions that offer
126 exquisite quality, integrated experiences and contemplation, and on the
other hand, fewer of such attractions that enable passive participation,
physical and unsustainable consumption for visitors. The level of aware-
ness and behaviour of visitors dictates the increasingly sophisticated re-
sponse of management, which puts in the forefront the nature, health,
authenticity and responsibility in all areas of activities. These core val-
ues c ontribute to the promotion of innovation in various fields, but al-
ways for the benefit of broader social goals. The quality of life has a great
impact on the quality of leisure, on the other hand, awareness of cooper-
ation importance, networking and partnerships in tourism is strength-
ened; therefore, the forecasts for future development are towards greater
engagement of local communities and interrelationships between stake-
holders. The value of collaboration in tourism will increase due to the
growing awareness of its multifaceted connection with other activities
and areas, and its common benefits and advantages.
