Zaključek

Ocena zdravstvenega stanja predstavlja temelj zdravstvene nege in ključni
element procesa zdravstvene nege v zdravstvenih ustanovah, čeprav je po-
gosto podana nesistematično in zgolj na podlagi izkušenj medicinske ses-
tre. S sistematično oceno zdravstvenega stanja lahko bistveno pripomoremo
h kakovostnejši in varnejši obravnavi pacienta. Kakovostna ocena zdravst-
venega stanja ima lahko za pacienta in za izid zdravljenja izjemen pomen,
saj lahko medicinska sestra, ki je nepretrgoma ob pacientu, hitro prepozna
spremembo zdravstvenega stanja, še preden bi lahko prišlo do negativnih
zapletov, in ustrezno ukrepa.
