Primerna izbira in uporaba ocenjevalnih lestvic v EIT prispeva k ustrezni zdra-
vstveni obravnavi kritično bolnih pacientov. Pridobili smo podatke o najbolj
pogostih ocenjevalnih lestvicah v EIT. Ocenjevalna lestvica mora biti lahka
za uporabo, razumljiva za vse uporabnike ter primerna. Pomembno je zave-
danje, da se na podlagi pridobljenih ocen titrirajo zdravila ter izvajajo različni
ukrepi in protokoli, ki delujejo preventivno oziroma preprečujejo poslabšan-
je. Zato je ocenjevanje potrebno izvajati strokovno, profesionalno in po pred-
pisih standardov kakovosti.
