Jiří Kopecký (jiri.kopecky@upol.cz)
studied musicology at the Palacký University in Olomouc. He spent the
summer term 2000 at the St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. He en-
tered his doctoral studies at the Philosophical Faculty of Masaryk Univer-
sity in Brno in 2002. He studied winter term 2003/2004 at the Martin-Lu-
ther Universität Halle-Wittenberg. His dissertation thesis Zdeněk Fibich´s
Operas on the libretti by Anežka Schulzová was finished in 2005. Since
2005 he has been an assistant lecturer at the Departement of Musicology of
Palacký University. He is the author of five books, and he has given semi-
nars and conferences in Poland, Germany, France, Ireland etc.
Darja Koter (darja.koter@ag.uni-lj.si)
is a full professor at the Academy of Music of Ljubljana University. Research
works on various topics like the history of musical instruments, music ico-
nography, music performing and about works of composers. Collabora-
tion in research projects of the University of Bonn and the University of
Ljubljana. Monographs: Glasbilarstvo na Slovenskem (2001, 2004), Musica
coelestis et musica profana. Glasbeni motivi v likovni dediščini od severne
Istre do Vremske doline (2008), Slovenska glasba 1848–1918 (2012), Sloven-
ska glasba 1918–1991 (2012). In the year 2014 she has received the Mantuani
award.
Hartmut Krones (Krones@mdw.ac.at)
studierte Musikerziehung, Germanistik, Gesang, Gesangspädagogik sowie
Musikwissenschaft und unterrichtet seit 1970 an der Akademie (jetzt Uni-
versität) für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien; bis September 2013 Leit-
er des „Instituts für Musikalische Stilforschung“ (Abteilungen „Stilkunde
und Aufführungspraxis“ und „Wissenschaftszentrum Arnold Schön-
berg“). Zahlreiche Publikationen zu: Aufführungspraxis Alter und Neuer
Musik, Musikalische Symbolik und Rhetorik, Musik des 20. Jahrhunderts
(incl. Musik in der Emigration und „NS-Geschichte“ der A.K.M.); Bücher u. a.
