Jacques Amblard (amblard83@gmail.com)
is a musicologist, associate professor at the Aix Marseille Université
(France). His publications concern aesthetics, music of the XXth and the
XXIst centuries (for example in his recent books 20 regards on Messiaen,
PUP, 2015 or in Micromusique, PUP, 2017) ; music and intonation, notably
in a book about the French contemporary composer Pascal Dusapin (Du-
sapin. The second style or intonation, mf, 2017); or musical pedagogy (Har-
mony explained to children, mf, 2006). He’s also written several novels (like
v comme Babel, Balland, 2001 or Noé, mf, 2016).

Matjaž Barbo (matjaz.barbo@ff.uni-lj.si)
is head of the Department of Musicology at the Faculty of Arts Universi-
ty of Ljubljana. He is an author of several books and scientific articles. He
has been a president of the Slovenian Musicological Society and for several
years an editor of the journal Musicological Annual. His research focuses
on music from the 18th century to the present, especially that which is as-
sociated with Slovenian cultural life, the development of symphonic music
and selected questions related to the aesthetics of music.

Nada Bezić (nada.bezic@zg.t-com.hr)
is since 1988 head of the library in the Croatian Music Institute (CMI) in
Zagreb. She got her Ph.D. in musicology in 2011 at the Music Academy in
Zagreb, and graduated in librarianship at the Faculty of Philosophy in Za-
