Conclusions
Prevention and treatment of legionellosis is an interdisciplinary work involv-
ing the planned and regular implementation of sanitary-technical and hygien-
ic procedures, microbiological control, and urgent action in the determination
of Legionella or legionellosis. Swimming in swimming pools is recommend-
ed, but we must be aware of the epidemiological risks. In addition to the risk of
drownings, a number of other diseases, such as microbiological infections, we
can acquire the most dangerous among them by Legionella (Nacionalni inštitut
