potrošnjo. V tem pogledu turistični boni nedvomno predstavljajo primer
dobre prakse, vreden pozornosti turističnih akademikov in praktikov.
Socialni turizem ima torej pri zagotavljanju večje trajnosti v turizmu
pomembno vlogo in v okviru ustrezne politike lahko pomembno pri-
speva k trajnostnemu razvoju turizma. Njegova vloga je zlasti opazna v
času zmanjšanega turističnega povpraševanja, ki lahko nastaja kot po-
sledica sezonskih nihanj ali, denimo, gospodarske ali zdravstvene krize.
Slednja je Sloveniji prinesla turistične bone, ki smo jih državljani in tudi
turistično-gostinski ponudniki dobro sprejeli in ki bi jih bilo, zaradi šte-
vilnih socialno-ekonomskih koristi, ki jih prinašajo vključenim deležni-
kom, verjetno smiselno obdržati tudi v prihodnje.
