Namen prispevka je raziskati in predstaviti organizacijo ter delova-
nje knjižnice up fm in up pef med pandemijo covida-19 in analizirati
spremembe ter nove delovne prakse kot posledico obdobja, ko je bila tudi
knjižnica primorana delovati na daljavo. Delovanje knjižnice je bilo do
trenutka nastopa pandemije močno povezano z osebnimi stiki z upo-
rabniki in uporabo tiskanega knjižničnega gradiva. Prispevek predstavlja
strokovne izzive vodenja in organizacije Knjižnice up fm in up pef od
trenutka, ko osebni obisk ni več mogoč, izzive komuniciranja med stro-
kovnimi sodelavci knjižnice ter z uporabniki knjižnice in drugimi dele-
žniki. Osredotoči se na storitve in odnose med popolnim zaprtjem jav-
nega življenja zaradi ukrepov za zajezitev nalezljive bolezni ter opiše pri-
lagojene znane storitve, nove storitve in storitve, ki so se uspešno in za-
nesljivo obdržale kot hibridni model tudi po ponovnem odprtju.

The Organization and Operation of the University Library
during the Covid-19 Pandemic: The Case of the up fm
and up pef Libraries

The aim of this article is to research and present the organization and
operation of the library up fm and up pef during the covid-19 pan-
demic and to analyze changes and new work practices as a result of a
period when the library was forced to operate remotely. Before the time
of the pandemic, the operation of the library was strongly associated to
personal contacts with library members and the use of printed library
material. This paper presents the professional challenges of managing
and organizing the up fm and up pef library from the moment when
personal visits are no longer possible, the challenges of communication
between library staff and in relation to library members and other stake-
holders. It focuses on services and relationships during the complete clo-
sure of public life due to contagious disease control measures and de-
scribes adapted known services, new services and services that have been
successfully and reliably maintained as a hybrid model even after reopen-
ing.
