Članek obravnava konceptualizacijo in formalizacijo glasbenih elementov. Medsebojna
zamenljivost različnih izrazov kaže na odsotnost formalizacije glasbenih pojmov. Da bi
se izognili nesporazumom, ki izhajajo iz pomenskih dvoumnosti, si moramo prizadevati
za jasnost pri uporabi glasbenih izrazov, kar pomeni uporabo natančnih in jasnih defini-
cij, pri čemer je treba biti seveda pozoren na alternativne interpretacije.
