Izvleček: Pot k razvijanju odprte družbe temelji na spoštovanju posameznika. To je tudi
eno izmed načel inkluzije, med katerimi so še: nediskriminacija, sprejemanje posame-
znika kot dela človeške raznolikosti, enakost možnosti, omogočanje optimalnega ra-
zvoja posameznika in druga. Vključevanje otrok s posebnimi potrebami v redne oblike
vzgojno-izobraževalnih ustanov, sprejemanje in razumevanje njihovih potreb ter poseb-
nosti je edina pravična pot, saj upošteva temeljno človekovo pravico – pravico do izo-
brazbe.
V naši družbi potekajo procesi, ki zagotavljajo uspešno vključevanje otrok s posebnimi
potrebami v večinske vrtce, osnovne šole, srednje šole in fakultete ter tako upoštevajo
načela inkluzije. Bistvo inkluzije je prilagajanje vzgojno-izobraževalnega dela posame-
zniku, kar vodi v spremembe v vzgojno-izobraževalnem sistemu.
Tudi na področju glasbenega šolstva si v bodoče želimo ustreznih sistemskih sprememb,
ki bodo otrokom s posebnimi potrebami pomagali razvijati njihove glasbene potenciale.
V prispevku je predstavljen primer združevanja znanj za njihov glasbeni napredek v CI-
RIUS Vipava.

Abstract: The path to developing an open society is based on respecting the individual,
which is one of the principles of inclusion, others being non-discrimination, accepting
the individual as part of human diversity, equal opportunities, enabling optimal devel-
opment of every individual, etc. Including a child with special needs in different forms
of general education, accepting and understanding their needs and individual character-
istics is the fairest way, as it acknowledges a fundamental human right – the right to ed-
ucation.
In our society, processes have been set in motion that ensure a successful inclusion of
children with special needs in mainstream kindergartens, primary schools, secondary
schools and colleges, thus respecting the principles of inclusion. The core concept of
inclusion is tailoring the educational work to the needs of an individual, which in turn
leads to change in the education system itself.
In the field of music education, appropriate systemic changes would also be appreciat-
ed for the future, as their implementation would pave the way for children with special
