The University of Primorska Press accepts manuscripts in Microsoft Word and LaTeX formats. The entire content should be in one file, and images or appendices should be in separate files. Please name the files with the name of the (first) author, e.g. smith.docx, smith1.jpg, smith2.jpg, etc.
Manuscript Formatting
Avoid any formatting that is irrelevant to the content of the manuscript; the manuscript should only be formatted in such a way that its structure is apparent. Paper size should be A4, with 25 mm margins. Font size should be Times New Roman 12pt. Use italics for emphasis and bold for headings. Chapters and sub-chapters should be numbered, e.g. 1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.2.1, 2, 2.1, etc.
Tables and Figures
Tables should be embedded in the text, graphs and images in separate files. Include data tables with graphs. Vector images should be in .eps format and raster images in .jpg or .tiff formats; raster images should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
Referencing
Bibliographical citations and reference lists should be arranged according to the Chicago Manual of Style (University of Chicago Press 2017). For each bibliographical reference (Brennan, Clark and Shaver 1998; Priest 2018; Raju 1954), the reference list should include the corresponding bibliographical description; the reference list should not include bibliographical descriptions for works that are not referenced in the text. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of all bibliographical references and descriptions.
